Sandro PattiFounder & CIO
Founder & CIOSandro founded Valiant AM in 2023 after more than two decades of experience in European credit. Prior to that, he was the head of Bain Capital Special Situations’ European corporate vertical, leading the investment from 2017 to 2023 and growing the portfolio to over €1bn of deployed capital. Before Bain Capital, he co-founded Gladwyne Investments LLP in 2009 and was a partner from 2012 to 2017. He started his career as an analyst at Goldman Sachs.
Sandy ClarkHead of Research
Head of ResearchSandy has years of experience in European Credit, specialising in distressed, high yield and leveraged loans. Before Valiant AM, he led the opportunistic credit strategy at Permira Credit and worked at Apollo on the Opportunistic Credit team, covering Retail & Consumer, Healthcare and Business Services. Sandy also worked at KKR and Credit Suisse.
Marko KirnerSenior Analyst
Senior AnalystMarko has years of experience in European credit, now leading the DACH coverage at Valiant AM. He most recently held a Director role in the Corporate Credit Team at Varde Partners. Prior to that he worked on the distressed desk at CQS and started his career at PJT Partners.
Luis De Diego YenesSenior Analyst
Senior AnalystLuis has years of experience in European credit and equities. Prior to joining Valiant AM, he worked as a high yield and distressed desk analyst at Jefferies, Deutsche Bank, and Citigroup, where he covered sectors including Chemicals, Industrials, Consumer Discretionary, Travel & Leisure, Healthcare, and Gaming. He began his career as an equity derivatives trader in London.

COO & CCOBen has years of experience in Asset Management, Prime Brokerage and Administration. Before joining Valiant AM, he was Head of Change Management at TT International and COO at Gladwyne Investments LLP. Ben also worked at SS&C GlobeOp and JP Morgan, where he spent 15 years across a range of roles within Prime Brokerage.

Senior Operations AnalystJonny has years of experience in Asset Management and Hedge Fund operations. Before Valiant AM, he worked as an Operations Associate at BlueCove (now Ares Systematic Credit), as an Operations Analyst at Elan Capital Management and at Silver Ridge Asset Management.
